Once the sun skitters under the horizon’s skirts the Crystal Ballroom transforms into a shadowy den of mystery. Evening entertainment commences with a 50-minute magic show by the hilariously demented Dr. Scream himself, clad in a devilishly red-and-black tuxedo. Amidst laughter and gasps, Dr. Scream boggles minds with inexplicable illusions that include sawing his female assistants in half, eating fire, and folding a fitted sheet in a way that isn’t weird. After the curtain falls and the theater goes completely dark, ghostly inhabitants materialize, skimming the tops of heads before vanishing without a trace, and skeletons tap-dance across the stage, cracking jokes designed to tickle even phantom funny bones. The two-hour experience concludes with a screening of a classic horror film such as Night of the Living Dead or House on Haunted Hill.

About Doctor Scream’s Spook Show Revival
Always Above Average Entertainment, LLC invites ticketholders to open their minds and let loose belly laughs during a night of comedy and hypnosis from Dr. Richard Allen, C.M.H., P.h.D. As spectators sip cocktails from the Crystal Ballroom Theater's full-service bar, Richard hypnotizes eager participants into performing hilarious tricks, such as believing that they've won the lottery, imagining that their clothes have disappeared, or metamorphosing into a being of pure psychic energy. Through Dr. Allen's mastery of the power of suggestion, volunteers and audience members alike learn how to face down fears and unlock the hidden potential deep within their own brains or untapped spirit animals.
