About American Coaster Enthusiasts

American Coaster Enthusiasts was established to unite fans of amusement rides from all over the US. The organization's mission is to promote not only the appreciation and enjoyment, but most of all the conservation of rollercoasters. ACE also aims to educate its members on the history of the beloved attraction, from the very first wooden coasters to the steel giants that are so popular nowadays. ACE started out in 1978 as a non-profit, all-volunteer club, and today it includes over 5,000 affiliates, not only from all 50 states and DC but from 12 other countries as well. There are various membership options available; members receive a bimonthly newsletter and weekly online news articles. On top of that, they can attend multiple amusement park events that ACE sponsors every year.
