Q:

Do you have experience working with seniors living with dementia? My 90-year-old mother had a frightening experience with a previous dentist and refused to go to appointments for a long time. What is the standard charge for office visit, cleaning, and exam?

Sally S.  asked on  Feb 24, 2012

A:

We do have some experience with patients with dementia. We have done exams, cleanings, etc. Our standard fee for a new patient exam is $76.00 and regular adult cleaning is $80.00, however by purchasing the Groupon, you are only paying $49.00.

Q:

What is the cost of doing one silver filling?

MARIE J.  asked on  Feb 24, 2012

A:

I'm sorry, we do not do the silver amalgam fillings. The cost of a bonded composite filling varies depending on how large it is and how much surface of the tooth is involved. Please call us at 414-257-1230 and we can give you an approximate cost.

Q:

Hello! I am one of "those" people that do not enjoy the dentist and put off going for much longer than I should. My specific issue is the metal pick used to determine if you have a cavity (don't ask me why). Do the lasers replace the need for the pick? I sure hope so! :)

Katie K.  asked on  Feb 23, 2012

A:

Yes! We do not need to use the metal pick. The Diagnodent laser detection takes the place of that.

Q:

If you happen to have 2 teeth that have 6mm deep pockets and all the rest 3 mm can you do a standard cleaning?

janis j.  asked on  Feb 23, 2012

A:

With this deal we would do a regular cleaning. For the teeth that have 6mm pockets, we might recommend an additional session of deeper cleaning (scaling and root planing) in those localized areas, but that would be a scheduled separately and charged our regular fee.

Q:

Unfortunately, I have been to this Dentist office a few years ago, so I am not eligible since it says "New Clients Only". Can I buy one for a friend? It says you can buy one as a gift, but I'm not sure if that means only new clients can buy the gift as well.

Dana M.  asked on  Feb 23, 2012

A:

Yes, you can buy it for a friend. Your friend redeeming it has to be a new client. Thank you for asking.

Q:

I don't see cavity fillings listed under the services on the website. There is a list of things such as crowns, bridges, root canals, etc, but no fillings. Does this practice actually refrain from doing fillings, or did they just fail to list it on their site?

Diane F.  asked on  Feb 23, 2012

A:

Thank you for asking. Yes we do fillings. They are not listed as a separate service on the site because they are a standard in a general dentistry practice such as ours. The other services are listed because not all general dentistry offices offer all the other services.
