About American Fireworks Company

A fourth generation pyrotechnics expert, Vincenzo Sorgi founded the American Fireworks Company in 1902 in Hudson, Ohio. Though he worked out of a small building, his fireworks gained a reputation for beauty and quality. One century and seven generations later, the Sorgi family still helms this storied enterprise. Now encompassing 60 buildings across seven acres, the company sells its fireworks to thousands of customers, delivering handmade craftsmanship and a bang with each sparkling display. Customers can find everything from sparklers and sky lanterns to crackling bottle rockets and massive glittering fountains. The shop sells individual fireworks alongside complex, choreographed displays for indoors or out, complete with computerized firing systems and a soundtrack.
