What You'll Get

The legendary Aardvark Jazz Orchestra celebrates its 43rd annual Christmas concert with a special performance of Duke Ellington's Sacred Concert, written for the opening of Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. You'll hear songs from that famous concert including "Come Sunday" and "Tell Me It's the Truth," plus "A Song for Christmas," "The Shepherd," "It's Freedom" and other exuberant music. The band's been called "spellbinding" by The Boston Globe, "captivating" by Jazz Improv and "beyond category" by Downbeat. Each year, Aardvark holds a Christmas concert to support a deserving cause. Proceeds from this year's event at Emmanuel Episcopal Church will benefit Community Works, an organization working for social justice, education and health care in Greater Boston.
