An experienced photographer captures clients’ precious moments during a 60-minute newborn session
A studio art major at Mount Holyoke College, Amika Gair experimented with numerous forms and materials, even spending a semester in Italy handcrafting boxes. But by graduation, she had finally settled on photography, and set out to refine her newfound trade through internships with local wedding photographers and nearby studios. She was soon inspired to open Amika Gair Photography, which lets her break free of the studio in favor of on-location sessions, capturing everything from families running on the beach to kids playing in the park. With her various packages, she preserves her best work with products such as prints, canvas wraps, and digital files stored on CDs or flash drives.
