Hi Terri, as you know, the specific wave length of the laser used for hair removal is absorbed selectively by the melanin pigments present in our hair and skin. So the ideal situation is when there is high concentration of the pigments in the hair (to maximize absorption by the hair follicle, eliminating it) and low concentration of pigments in the skin (to minimize the risk of skin burns). So the conditions are not ideal for treating blonde hair given the lower concentration of melanin pigments, but we do have patients who get laser treatment despite having blonde hair and they see some levels of success. A complimentary consultation is included in this offer during which we do skin typing and doctor will check the patients to make sure they are medically fit and good candidates for laser treatment, and if they are not, then we will ask Groupon to refund their purchase price (or we will refund them ourselves if they have bought the offer directly from us). Therefore, I suggest that you buy this deal and do the consult and then we will be in a better position to decide. Please call us at 949-266-7346 or email us if you have other more questions. Thanks!
