The Anaheim Ballet became the resident ballet of Anaheim in 1997 and dedicates itself to classical programming with contemporary presentation. It pulls from Russian, Italian, and French schools of training and technique, encompassing the great American tradition of melding different cultural origins to create something new. Out of the theatre, the Anaheim Ballet performs engrossing performances in public spaces to engage with communities which would not normally experience ballet. It also conducts the Anaheim Ballet School, instilling its unique blend of classical methods in young students of different ages.
