What You'll Get
The benefits of waxing were first discovered when Jack B. Nimble botched his candlestick routine and had to pull hot wax from the fur stole he was wearing. Relish in the clumsy innovation with today's Groupon: for $79, you get three standard bikini or Brazilian waxes at Ancient Secrets of Beauty in Bellevue (a $210 value).
Certified aestheticians at Ancient Secrets of Beauty remove unwanted hair from intimate areas using a specialized technique and no-strip wax. At the beginning of treatment, hair is trimmed and reprimanded for overexerting itself before wax spills over intimate regions and wraps around hair. Once dried, the expert technicians pull hair from the root using the wax and a stripless method. While the bikini wax leaves hair within certain perimeters, the Brazilian leaves either a small strip or removes hair completely from front to back. Following the treatment, skin feels clean, soft, and void of any embarrassing razor burn usually hidden beneath a fanny pack. Postwax, a lavender-infused first-aid solution soothes the area and hair typically returns several weeks later as a softer, finer texture.

About Ancient Secrets of Beauty
Aesthetician Suzan Tajer started Ancient Secrets of Beauty in 1991, and over the years, she's specialized in two types of treatments: waxing and Lipomassage. The latter treatment attempts to fight cellulite with vacuum suction and two rollers that fold and unfold the skin. When it comes to waxing, Suzan can shape brows, erase unwanted mustaches, and make arms and legs so smooth and aerodynamic that clients accidentally take flight.
Her true specialty, however, is Brazilian waxing. Suzan saw the trend approaching way back when she opened her salon, and immediately she started developing her own techniques. Today, Suzan's quick Brazilian treatments shun strip waxing techniques in favor of wax that shrink-wraps around the hair as it dries. Her Brazilian waxing techniques have earned her a number of mentions in both local and national magazines, such as Allure and The Premier Seattle Monthly.
