What You'll Get
Before modern photography, portrait-seeking subjects would cover themselves in year-end financial figures to meet the requirements for being xeroxed. Capture more accurate self-copies with today’s Groupon: for $59, you get a photo-shoot package from Angela Clifton Photography (a $275 value). The photo package includes the following:
- One-hour photo shoot of up to six subjects (a $200 value) at a choice of the following locations:
- Philippe Park in Safety Harbor
- Chestnut Park in Palm Harbor
- Sand Key Beach in Clearwater
- Two professionally retouches (a $50 value)
- $25 credit toward the purchase of prints
Husband-and-wife photography duo Brent and Dawn Beatty capture candid moments of human and animal subjects in professional lenses. The Beattys field questions from future familial subjects over the phone during a pre-shoot consultation, before settling on one of three scenic beach backgrounds that proffer as much flattering natural light as a tinfoil hammock on a sunny day. Up to six people, pets, or well-behaved pet peeves may join the shoot, which is often attended by both Brent and Dawn if both are available.
Following each session, subjects receive a personalized website with a minimum of 50 proofs available for purchase for one month, which electronically cruise to inboxes in the form of a gallery link. Photographees choose two images for professional retouching, which eradicates blemishes, scars, and stubborn milk mustaches. A $25 credit applies toward a customizable print package, such as four wallets ($8.99 for each set), a 5"x7" ($14.99 each), or an 8"x10" ($19.99).
This Groupon may also be applied toward a customized wedding-photo package.
Origin Stories: A Self-Portrait in Blues Riffs
Brent Beatty was one flashbulb among many along Miami's glitziest catwalks when he met his future wife, Dawn, who calmed creative tensions with art-therapy courses. Together, they channeled their collective love of still life into establishing Angela Clifton Photography in 2008. When not photographing unsuspecting 5-year-olds at birthday parties or attracting curious dolphins to beachside engagement shoots, Brent tunes up his guitar and teaches Dawn how to play blues rock on the bass. The two are forming a band but have yet to decide on a name. Dawn loves movies, particularly Groundhog Day; by now, she has relived February 2 even more times than Bill Murray has.

About Angela Clifton Photography
With nearly 50 years of experience between them, the shutterbug husband and wife duo of Brent and Dawn capture life's grandest moments through their work at Angela Clifton Photography. Specializing in on-location shoots illuminated by natural light, they capture the moments that cell phones, or ever the most tenured court painter, can't do justice to. Baby's first steps. The glow of an expectant mother. The playful frolics of a new pet. The family's first trip to the beach. These are brief moments that the photographers make timeless.
For weddings and engagements, Brent and Dawn's photographs document the romance of two hearts beating at once, and for high school seniors, they create senior portraits that perfectly capture their final days of childhood. For those who want to understand the art and mechanics of family photography, Angela Clifton Photography offers photo classes that build upon the technical aspects of lenses, lighting, and composition, and include tips on how to work with families for the perfect shot.
