Famed for its warm and interactive stage-free musical experience, Le Salon de Musiques features chamber music in an intimate environment -- the fifth floor space of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. This concert pays homage to four compositional masters of neo-romanticism -- York Bowen, Rebecca Clarke, Arnold Bax and Erno Dohnanyi -- with a program of exquisite works for strings and piano. Hear them played by a talented quintet consisting of Jessica Guideri and Eric Arvinder on violin, Anna Kolotylina on viola, Timothy Landauer on cello and Kevin Fitz-Gerald on piano. Le Salon de Musiques's musicologist, Kristi Brown-Montesano, will be on hand to introduce and give context to the works, and after the performance, you're invited to join the musicians for a Q&A, as well as a reception featuring Champagne and a gourmet high-tea buffet catered by Patina.
