Q:

I thought an European Facial consisted of using Galvanic and High Frequency - does yours? Also - does this include and exfoliation and extractions?

Keep in mind that there are many variations and different training methods to the European facial or any type of facial. The Classic European Facial is defined as a complete facial which helps in maintaining a healthy complexion. Typically, the European facial is geared towards more manual massage which helps to gently exfoliate the skin, increase circulation of blood, and flush toxins from the area. The benefits of a manual massage provides the skin the needed avenues to work on it to perform normal functions naturally. The manual massage can vary in technique depending on the training, purpose, and legal requirements of the specialist’s location. Generally the procedures includes a deep pore cleansing, steam, exfoliation and hydration. The face, neck and upper shoulder maybe massaged to help tone, boost circulation, assist lymph system, along with many other benefits. The facial masks, creams, lotions, peels, massage, are all customized to each clients skin. The use of Galvanic and High Frequency are just a few of the machines that maybe used during a facial in today’s style of facials. You could have one facial every week for an entire year under the name “European Facial” and they ALL might be entirely different… it really does depend upon your Aesthetician and how they define their facials along with their training. All states, countries, etc., have different educational training requirements for the aesthetician. The facial we are offering for this special is one of the truest classic forms of a European Facial. Your service treatment for this special will be from a Aesthetician licensed and trained in skin care as well as being licensed and trained in therapeutic massage. We are lucky to have two specialist with years of experience, who have trained and are licensed in both Skin Care and Massage Therapy. This combination is a European way and is very classically required in other countries. This compels the specialist to have extensive training in the studies of body and skin. We love our work here and cater to learning and understanding our art. Your customized facial will have many different variations each time you visit, so the answers to your questions can vary depending on your skin and your goals. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you. P.S. You can see some pictures of our place and look up our reviews on our website, google, trip advisor (awarded 5 star certificate of excellence for this year) and we won The Readers Choice award by the Ormond Beach Hometown News this year also. Q:

my wife is more inerested in the message.can the treatment be geared for more time for the message or message only when using this groupon?

michael e.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

Hi Michael, Thank you for inquiring into our Signature Facial with Back Treatment and Massage. This customized facial is designed with a limited amount of massage. The massage is neck, shoulders and back along with the facial and back treatment. The massage time is limited depending on client skin needs. A wonderful treatment and prefect for even people who enjoy massages because it is the best of both worlds; facial and massage. An old fashion true European treatment, your wife should not be disappointed in a service like this one. A lot of my clients enjoy this deluxe concept of combining the two services. Some prefer it over a straight massage because it target stress points of the face, neck, shoulders and back and leave the skin glowing too.
