Established over 25 years ago in Carle Place, Angelo’s found new life in May 2014 when Nuno and Dana DeSousa took over ownership. As a couple with a shared dream of running a place of their own, they saw potential in Angelo’s from the very beginning. With a little TLC, they refreshed the ambiance and infused it with warmth and charm. Nuno, a Long Island native from the Mineola/Carle Place area, brings an extensive culinary background and more than 15 years of restaurant experience in New York City. Dana, a New York City native and early childhood educator, also brings years of experience in the restaurant industry. Together, they’ve created a neighborhood pizzeria and restaurant rooted in family values.
