Chicago's Annoyance Theatre brings its Splatter Theater Halloween show back to life. The popular company's first-ever production -- which they've performed every year since 1987 -- spoofs slasher films like Friday the 13th while offering up zany humor and plenty of blood and gore. You'll see such archetypal characters as the jock, the virgin and the jerk all get slashed, slain and filleted in dozens of hilariously appalling ways. Each show begins with freshly painted white walls, and ends with a stage thoroughly drenched in blood. It's an annual tradition for The Annoyance and hundreds of fans, and the blood is flowing all the way through Halloween.
Running time is approximately one hour.
