Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

Are these just regular microdermabrasion sessions? It states that regular cost is $458 for 2 sessions (which is $229 each). Typically, regular microdermabrasion sessions are around $120-150 each at most salons. Is there something else that is part of the treatment which causes regular price to be almost $230?

Zorka L.  asked on  Feb 27, 2013

A:

Hello Zorka, The micro-dermabrasion session gets you a personal consultation with our trained technician who assesses your skin type and recommends the best process for you. After the consult, the cleansing process takes place to clean the skin using our top-formulated creams. The treatment uses the Derma Pod technology that is award-winning and not the lower-end diamond tip equipment that others may use that de-value the service hence making it cheaper elsewhere. With the advanced technology, quality products and personalized attention, our micro-dermabrasion treatments achieve results that you will see and feel. Thanks for your question.

Hi Inessa. We welcome all questions:-) You can have the treatment done to the back of your arms. Microdermabrasion is great for treating the dry skin cells.

Q:

Is microdermabrasion recommeded to remove a brown pigmentation spot from the cheekbone area of the face. How many treatments would it typically take to remove a brown spot?

Rosemary R.  asked on  Mar 1, 2013

A:

Hello Rosemary, Microdermabrasion will help to lighten the spot. Unfortunately I won't be able to tell you as we would need to complete the free consultation to assess your needs. Hope this helps.

Q:

Will we have to pay taxes at all on this? And if so, how much will the taxes be exactly (for the 2 visit treatment)?

Deb G.  asked on  Feb 27, 2013

A:

Hello Deb Yes there are 13% taxes on the voucher purchase price of $69 or $109 depending on the option you purchase. The exact tax amount is $8.97 / $14.17. The taxes are collected on your first visit when you redeem the voucher. Hope this helps.
