About Anthony's Full Service & Express Car Wash
Founder Anthony Serio and his family have been revivifying rides in the Birmingham community for almost 50 years. Their locations now operate as Flex Serve models, merging their successful Full Serve model with the popular Express Exterior model. Using biodegradable chemicals and water from a water-recovery system, Anthony's keeps the whole operation green by lessening their ecological footprint and reducing water usage. At the end of each wash, vehicles are stewarded through a reverse-osmosis wash tunnel that filters minerals from the water leaving vehicles spot-free. Those who like frequent car washes can even enroll in a monthly wash club that entitles them to one daily wash for a single monthly rate.
While all locations serve cars with washes, details, and oil changes, each has its own specialty. Mechanics at the Vestavia Hills shop stage automotive services for drivers who need to rotate tires or translate the shrieks from squeaky brakes into English. Shoe-shining services and an upstairs hair salon (A Cut Above) accessible by spiral staircase add character to Anthony's main branch in Hoover.
