During the basics expedition, guides teach the fundamentals of climbing movement and belaying in an easy-to-follow progression. Basics trips are held on weekends from 9 a.m. to noon or from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The intermediate trip lasts from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and teaches more advanced climbing skills, including rappelling, allowing climbers to feel more independent at the crag.
