Our family tradition is to take fall pics for our Christmas greetings photos. This is our first time booking professionally and booking with April’s photography, we were blessed to connect with Bryant who did not disappoint! He was on time, communicative, prepared, professional, knowledgeable about settings and the content trends, engaging and directive when necessary but also allowed us to explore our vision and intent as well. Bryant really understands the direction of his clients and what the goal is and how to execute the task of capturing the perfect photos. To achieve full understanding of our desired outcome(s), he began this process with a questionnaire to assess our personalities, intentions, desired outcomes, poses and looks. He was organized with photo shoot confirmation emails, text and assisted with directions to the shoot location. Set up was quick, efficient and we did not wait long at all to start our session. Bryant took our requests seriously and We really felt heard and through the entire process. Bryant was attentive to our needs through every detail right down to the music and supporting and encouraging the usage of our personal play lists (very nice touch) Bryant has a skillful eye for the “art of the lens” and he captured the moments between my son and I wonderfully. It is worth mentioning that the boost in confidence that he ignited in my teenage son-he helped him break out of his shell and made him feel so comfortable. The only issue I had was picking my jaw up off the floor from how wonderful the photos came out =) Something about seeing my Son genuinely SMILING and that it was captured in action left me extremely satisfied with this service and his work. My husband and I are so grateful for Rae! We brought our pups along for family photos at Nelson Atkins Museum. Rae was so creative and had many great ideas to get the perfect shot. Can’t wait to use these to send out to family and friends for the holidays!
