Q:

Does this include follow up appointments for touch ups? If so, how many? If not, how much are touch ups?

Rachel D.  asked on  Oct 22, 2012

A:

No, this price does not include touchups. It is up to you to do touch-ups,it is recommended since the body will only take around 40% of the color. Touchups are priced differently for each area and will be discussed at consult. You can do touch up once a year or 45 days after the initial treatment. thanks!

Q:

I am going to have my top and bottom eyelids done. Should I plan on taking off work the day after? Will I need someone to drive me home afterwards?

Monica B.  asked on  Oct 22, 2012

A:

Since we don't know how sensitive your skin is I would take the next day off. You may be very swollen but it really is based on the person's sensitivity and that is hard to tell. You will be fine to drive home. Thanks.

Q:

What kind of pigment and what technique do you use? Does it fade over time? I'm interested in full lips. Do you have before and after photos available? What is the name of your technician and how long have they been practicing? If I decide it's not for me after a consult, can I get a refund?

Rachel D.  asked on  Oct 21, 2012

A:

Hello, We use pigments containing iron oxide which helps the color last longer and is less likely to cause allergic reactions compared to organic or vegetable based pigments. The price listed is for basic technique using manual method. Yes, it fades over time and touch-ups will be needed, even after the 1st treatment you will need to return 30 to 60 days to get the desired look. During the first two weeks you will lose about 40% of your color. After that point your permanent make-up will look perfectly natural. However with permanent cosmetics for lips it will require at least two more touch-ups to achieve the desired look and even color distribution. The lips are more sensitive and truthfully, will be painful, although we do apply topical numb cream during the process. There is a time period where you can receive a refund through Groupon. Thank you.

Q:

How long have you been doing permanent eye makeup? I have had it in the past and it is a bit painful, however I still went through with the process and thinking of doing it again. I have heard it is more painful the second time, is that true? Thank you.

Tammy W.  asked on  Oct 21, 2012

A:

Hello, Yes, it is still painful as the first time. The technician has done this for one year. Thank you.

Q:

I'm interested in top & bottom eyelids. How long does the procedure take? How painful is it? And do people have allergic reactions to the pigment? Thanks!

Sheri A.  asked on  Oct 20, 2012

A:

Hello, To answer your question, The process can take up to 3 hours which includes consultation, before and after pictures etc. You will be numbed with cream during the entire process. It is uncomfortable but not painful. For the first few days after the procedure you will be tender and swollen (not too bad unless you're very sensitive), you will apply an ointment then after a few days you will stop and it will scab up and fall off. The liner will be lighter which is normal. As for allergic reactions, we can't answer that because it is all about the persons sensitivity. No one that we know of has had an allergic reaction but yes, it could possibly happen, no guarantee. Hope this helps!! Aqua Blue
