A Chat with Aqua Therapy Clinics
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We are among the only float centers to add a physical therapist [so we can] add pain management and rehab to our one-hour saltwater flotation therapy sessions. Our pods free you from gravity, tension, and pain. We have private rooms with lighting and music options for you to pamper all your senses.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I always loved patient care, so this was an opportunity to help several loved ones and many others with pain management without prescriptions and drugs. It provides a more natural pain relief and rehabilitation from injury and disease.
What do you love most about your job?
Helping others. Introducing individuals to a more natural form of care. Also, having the ability to work with all physical therapists and other rehab facilities as a partner—not a competitor—since we all have the same goals.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
“Thank you! You helped change my quality of life!“
Aqua Therapy Clinics
Everyone knows water is good for them—why else would they drink eight glasses of water a day or join a synchronized-swimming team? The physical therapists at Aqua Therapy Clinics take those health benefits one step further by placing flotation therapy at the center of its rehabilitation services. During these therapeutic sessions, clients spend about an hour floating in a 10-inch-deep solution of clinical-grade Epsom salts rich in magnesium, which not only helps them relax but also provides them with relief from sports injuries, neurological conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders, in addition to helping improve muscle and nerve function, blood-glucose control, and blood-pressure regulation. Customers can optionally customize the experience with various colors of safe UV light or relaxation music to enhance the relaxation. The water is automatically cleaned after each session by a state-of-the-art purification system that removes particles as small as 1 micron, or 1/100th of a human hair using a three-part filtration and sterilization system that enlists the help of UV light and H2O2.
