Do you have courses in April?

Patsy W.  asked on  Feb 6, 2013

Hi Patsy Unfortunately the lakes are all still frozen in April so our sessions start in May. You can follow this link http://www.aquabatics.com/instruction/TQuick.php to see all course dates Cheers Simon

Q:

So, just to clarify, is there a specific date and time for people who purchased this groupon, or do I need to go into your company site and sign up for one of the intro classes (once the groupon is purchased)? Thanks! Kathy

Kathy D.  asked on  Feb 4, 2013

A:

Hi Kathy Sorry for the delay in the reply the interface for answering questions has been acting up. There are no specific dates, if you purchase a groupon for this course you can register for any of our courses. Simply follow this link http://www.aquabatics.com/instruction/TQuick.php to see the available dates for 2013 Thanks Simon

Q:

Hi, I want to learn how to right myself if I fall into water. Does your deal include this instruction?

tw  asked on  Feb 3, 2013

A:

Hi TW, This course doesn't cover any rolling or exit and bail rescue material at all. Our Mastering the Kayak Roll and Touring Kayak Safety courses cover all manners of that though. Cheers, Luke

Q:

We are from out of town 3hours Question:1. Do you supply kayaks? 2. Is this indoors or out ?

Sandy k.  asked on  Feb 3, 2013

A:

Hi Sandy, we supply all kayaks and gear, all you need are clothes you don't mind getting wet and some sort of water shoe. This course is outdoors on the Glenmore reservoir. Cheers! Luke

Q:

Is there a minimum age limit. I am wondering if my 7 and 9 yr old can do this too.

RICHA B.  asked on  Feb 2, 2013

A:

Hi Richa, There's no age limit. We'll get them into tandem kayaks though as we do cover some reasonable distance over the evening. If they are very competent we can possibly switch them into singles part way through the evening but we'll have to judge that on the night. Cheers! Luke

Q:

It looks like this is the Monday evening class, what time does it start/end? Is all the necessary gear included in the Groupon?

Lauren S.  asked on  Feb 2, 2013

Hi Lauren, It starts at 6 and ends at 8.30, yes all gear is included. When you register for the course on our website you will get an email detailing all of the logistics for the course. Cheers! Luke
