About Aquafly Austin

Water is a necessary component of life. Thanks to technology, it is also now a component of human flight. At Aquafly Austin, the water-propelled Flyboard rockets pilots up to 30 feet into the sky using water—not gasoline or eagle tears—as its lone fuel source. To ensure the Flyboard reaches its maximum, gravity-defying potential, Aquafly offers three different levels of flying lessons. By the time pilots reach the Ace course, they're capable of doing backflips and diving effortlessly under the water's surface. Back on land, Aquafly offers ground training at its Lakeway Marina office. Aquafly's instructor Damone Rippy recently placed 4th at the 2013 Flyboard World Cup in Doha, Qatar.
