Q:

What is included in the upgraded photo package?

Kathryn C.  asked on  Apr 22, 2013

A:

We shoot between 150 and 200 still shots of your flight and will usually process about 50 or so that we give you. We find that the still shots are better for our first time pilots as they generally show awesome moves. The videos are normally best once you have some time on the board.

Q:

how much of the 90 minutes would I actually be strapped in and flying? What is the deal with the 5 feet high max? It that something you tell people they can't do or that the power will be cut off if you go over 5 feet?

toby s.  asked on  Apr 21, 2013

A:

Hi Toby! Thank you for your question. Each person is flying between 30-45 during the 90 minute experience. As far as maximum height, our instructors will allow you to fly higher as long as you exhibit the aptitude to control your body at a lower flight level. We have had many flyers that have dolphin dived and flown well beyond the 5 feet during their experience. Don't forget that at feet above water level your visual level is over 10 feet. That feels pretty high to most people, but we have plenty of flyers that like to go as high as the are able! We look forward to seeing you!

Q:

Does this activity require two hands? I am very athletic, but am missing my left hand.

Darren  asked on  Apr 21, 2013

A:

Hi Darren, Operating the Flyboard does not require both hands. All motion and control is handled by your lower body.

Q:

This sounds like a great adventure for my grown sons. Where does this activity take place? Is there a viewing area where family could watch? Does this deal include the lesson and flying time? Are there age restrictions? Weight restrictions? Thanks.

Linda T.  asked on  Apr 20, 2013

A:

We operate at Lakeway Marina located in Lakeway. There are several viewing areas that are ideal for watching. The deal includes "ground school" which is the pre-flight training and flight time on the FlyBoard. There are no age restrictions but typically 10 to 12 is the minimum age depending on ability. We have flown folks as tall as 6'7" weighing in excess of 350 lbs. The maximum shoe size is 13.
