- Open-water scuba-certification course with gear rental
In the open-water scuba-certification course, student divers learn the theory and techniques behind open water diving, preparing them to practice safe diving in confined and open-water environments. Self-paced E-learning sessions supplement 10-person (or less) classroom sessions, which are held prior to confined water practices. After mastering the skills learned in those sessions, open-water lessons will be scheduled. Exact days and times depend on availability and weather. Students can use the shop’s rental scuba equipment at no additional cost, including masks, fins, and snorkels or bring their own, provided the equipment meets industry standards.
- Enriched air diver certification (Nitrox)
The Enriched Air Diver or Nitrox Specialty is the most popular scuba diving specialty available. Scuba diving with Nitrox allows students to safely extend their no decompression limits, which means more time underwater. Diving in some of the Caribbean Islands requires a Nitrox certification, as most of the divers have found to be an added expense to their dives when they are on vacation.
- Open-water and nitrox scuba-certification course with gear
This option is for both the Open Water and Nitrox Certifications allowing customers to be one step closer to becoming an advanced level diver right from the start.
