This has to be the best experience my son has ever had. This is his 4th year and he would love to continue, but it stops at 14 yr old. He has made memories and learned skills that will last him a lifetime! The staff is always courteous, helpful and take great care for our children. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

About Aquatics Camp

The St. Johns River Base is home to more than just the starting point of Florida's longest river—it's also the site of Aquatics Camp. This backdrop for the water-based day camp couldn't be more ideal, and here, enthusiastic instructors lead campers ages 6–14 in a wealth of activities. Throughout each packed day, they lead youngsters in building the balancing skills needed for waterskiing, wakeboarding, and standup paddleboarding; teach sailing lingo—also known as "pirate babble"; and demonstrate the proper paddling strokes for kayaking and canoeing.

And their land activities prove just as challenging and fun. They test campers' mettle in archery and rock climbing or engage their brains with robotics, cooking, and chess. For a break from the physical activity, they helm arts and crafts activities, during which kids create jewelry, pottery, and leatherwork. They also dole out badges to campers learning first aid skills—a testament to their constant eye on safety.
