With their background in molecular sciences helping them to understand the grape’s DNA, Árdíri Winery & Vineyards’ grape-mashing gurus John Compagno and Gail Lizak craft varietals at a 15-acre vineyard nestled in the Chehalem Mountains. Supplementing their Oregon output with a 5-acre Napa Valley plot, Árdíri smashes succulent pinot noir grapes—scientifically known to be the most genetically unstable of any varietal—by forming complex vintages in toasted French oak barrels.
At the tasting room, oenophiles can sample the 2009 Willamette Valley pinot noir—which Portland Monthly named one of Oregon’s 50 Best Wines—as they bask in the glow of Árdíri oversize outdoor fire pit. Alternatively, they can sip on the vintner’s 2010 Chehalem Gold white wine, featuring a 50-50 blend of pinot gris and pinot blanc grapes grown in the Willamette Valley. Additionally, vino aficionados can stock wine cellars or crawlspaces with favored vintages, as today’s deal includes $10 off the purchase of three or more bottles.

About Árdíri Winery & Vineyards
Ardiri Winery is currently closed till at least April 14th due to the shutdown on bars.
Árdíri Winery & Vineyards' winemakers John Compagno and Gail Lizak personally tend to each vine on their 15-acre vineyard in Willamette Valley, Oregon. They age each harvest's fruit in French oak, creating complexly flavored whites and reds.
John and Gail share their award-winning varietals year-round at their open-air tasting facility, where staffers pour samples from behind a black concrete bar and roll-up windowed doors afford stunning views of Mount Hood and the Chehalem Mountains. The boutique winery's dog- and bike-friendly grounds also include a covered flagstone patio, a fire pit, trails through the vineyards, and picnic areas. Picnics are welcome.
