Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

I do not see any scheduling information on your website. Can you give any idea of when classes start, which days the pre-licensing classes are on, and what times they are to be held? Also, I see that students generally have the option of attending classes at multiple campuses to help expedite scheduling. Will this be the case?

Jaime M.  asked on  Aug 16, 2012

A:

Hi Jaime, The school's 90-hour program consists of 18 classes, which students can attend in any order and complete via flexible scheduling in as little as three weeks or as long as six months. Morning, afternoon, and evening classes are available beginning September 4. Classes are only for the Mesa location.

Q:

Do you have any statistics available on students completing the course and subsequently passing the AZ State Real Estate exam on their 1st, 2nd, 3rd attempts, etc? I am a CPA and have often considered becoming a real estate agent since I have a fairly extensive financial background. Do you have any stats on CPA taking your course and them sitting for the AZ State exam? Thanks.

Rod B.  asked on  Aug 20, 2012

A:

We don't have statistics that detailed as far as how many CPAs have taken our course. We offer our school tests to students to prepare you for the state test. We encourage you to take these as many times as necessary to feel comfortable before attempting the state exam. This is at no extra charge to you.

Q:

Do I have 6 months from the 1st class to complete? I a am a Senior in HS and my academic schedule will not lighten until early February.

Jackie B.  asked on  Aug 17, 2012

A:

Hi Jackie, you have 6 months from the date you come in to redeem your Groupon. Most people can finish within 1-2 months. If your school schedule prohibits you from attending day classes we also offer night classes twice a week. That would allow you to finish the program in 9 weeks.

Q:

Once licensed, what sort of positions will this enable us to qualify other than a realtor? Thanks!

ms s.  asked on  Aug 16, 2012

A:

There are several jobs withing the real estate industry that require a real estate license including property management. We offer our Career Partner program to all of our students that will give you access to dozens of agencies around Phoenix and an opportunity to research and interview the ones that interest you.

Q:

I'm really interested in this course, and I can complete a lot, but not all of it based on the schedule for September. I understand that there is not yet a schedule for october. I think it's pretty likely that I would be able to complete in October, but if not, do you offer an "a la carte" class fee at your other locations? So as a for instance if I got everything done but could not attend any of the offered "Closings" classes, could I pay to take it in Scottsdale instead of waiting for next month? Just as an example.

Jaime M.  asked on  Aug 16, 2012

A:

Hi Jaime. Yes, we will have a full schedule of classes in Mesa every month so you will have no problem finishing your classes. We just put the September one up there for people planning their first month. If you go to this link (http://www.azrealestatelicense.com/licensing/calendars/salescalendar) you can actually see the Mesa calendar for October. We will be adding November and December to the calendar shortly.

Q:

Just wanted to make sure, you have to complete all 18 courses within the 6-month time period (in any order) only at the mesa campus for this Groupon? Also( for example ) courses are listed from 8 - 12:30 - that's only 4 1/2 hours ? does it really end at 1:00 with a break?

Paolo S.  asked on  Aug 16, 2012

A:

Yes, that is correct. The morning session will go no later than 12:30. Each session is actually 4:30 hours to allow for the breaks. You usually get a break once per hour. The same goes for the afternoon and evening sessions. They will never go later than what is scheduled.
