Jill
A friend and I went on a trail ride and had a great time. The wrangler who acted as our guide was very informative and provided a lot of information about Arizona and cattle ranching. The horses were easy to work with and we had a great time both in the trail and wandering the ranch a bit afterward as well!
Carl
The staff was extremely helpful to me and my wife. Teaching us the proper way to take control of the horse an not let the horse take control of you. We would suggest anyone to be a guest at this ranch anytime.
Sherry
Fantastic...beautiful rides can’t wait until to go back after the next rain to see the desert flowers.
Lara
My daughter and I went to the Arizona Cowboy College to take a trail ride last week. When we arrived, we were greeted by Lori and her staff. The horses were ready for our ride. Lori personally helped us all mount (my daughter and I joined another mom and her girls on this trail) and made sure our stirrups were the correct length. We had a 90 minute ride in the desert… it was beautiful! We saw wildlife and some interesting cactus and plants. The scenery was spectacular. We were able to take pictures and Lori even offered to take pictures of the moms and their girls. The horses were very well behaved and took their jobs seriously. After the ride, we were able to walk around the ranch and interact with the other animals: mini horses, cows, calves and even a pig! We had a great experience and my daughter has been asking to go back. There is a summer camp for kids at the ranch to which I’m going to send my daughter. Great trail ride on sweet horses!

About ☀ Arizona Cowboy College ☀
Founded in 1989 by fourth-generation cowboy Lloyd Bridwell, ☀ Arizona Cowboy College ☀ abounds with all the atmosphere one would expect from a real Western ranch, with one very modern distinction: it was the setting for CMT's reality show Cowboy U. The program highlighted the often-rocky journey of city dwellers and a fame-hungry pony who came there to win attempting to adjust to life on the range, all led by senior instructor Rocco Wachman and his teaching staff. 34+ Years in Operation. 70+ Combines Years teaching all things horse.
After years of handling horses and new riders of all ages, Wachman and company were well-prepared to wrangle reality-show contestants, and once the cameras stopped rolling, they went right back to the tough but rewarding business of ranch-running. At Arizona Cowboy College, that includes private and group lessons as well as trail rides through picturesque natural forests, with programs aimed at nurturing ranch hands, serious riders, and more casual horse-lovers alike.
