Q:

could i use this together with a lower lid also??? What is the recovery time?

Theresa M.  asked on  Dec 18, 2012

A:

Dear Theresa...........thank you for your question. YES, by all means you can have the lower eyelids done at the same time. We will be offering our Groupon patients a very special, aggressive promotion on the lower eyelid blepharoplasty. There are two surgical techniques for lower eyelid blepharoplasty and until I examine the patient at the initial consultation I cannot specify which technique will be best suited for that given patient. Recovery time is generally around 7-10 days although patients can resume fairly normal activities within 24-48 hours. Thank you...........I look forward to seeing you soon!

Q:

How much more for sedation?

Barbara V.  asked on  Dec 18, 2012

A:

Dear Barbara..........I know many of our patients question IV sedation but the reality is that it is a very RARE person who requires such sedation as this is a very gentle 20-minute procedure. I am proud that I have performed well over 10,000 such procedures in my 24 years and only a rare handful have ever required IV sedation. If indeed you are set on IV sedation, we would need to do your procedure on a regular "anesthesia day" in our center when typically we do larger cases. The extra cost for the anesthesia fee if requested would be $500. Thank you!
