$32 for Entry for One in New Year’s Resolution Race ($65 Value)
The New Year's Resolution run challenges participants to get an active start to 2013 with a 5-mile challenge through rugged desert terrain. Runners bound through a course full of mud pits, barbed wire, tire pits, and a 10-foot climbing wall. Held on Saturday, January 5, at MacDonald’s Ranch, the race releases runners in 10-minute intervals starting at 9 a.m. All participants should be in good physical condition and aged 18 or older.
Arizona Mudathon prefers to make the challenge of inner and outer strength a messy one. An all-terrain obstacle course transitions from sloshing mud pits to hurdles to an imposing 10-foot wooden climbing wall. While racers kick up desert dust, their families and supporters cheer them on from the sidelines.
