Q:

Two questions: 1. My insurance covers annual vision exams. I assume I'll be able to use my plan to cover my exam, and still purchase the $200 or $250 Groupon to put toward a pair of frames/lenses, correct? 2. I don't know what a "trunk show" is. Should I expect reasonable deals at this event, or is it a showcasing of higher priced new styles?

J.R. D.  asked on  Apr 3, 2013

A:

1. Yes, you can use your insurance for the exam and only use the groupon for your glasses purchase. It cannot be combined with insurance covered purchases. 2. A Trunk Show is an opportunity for vendors (i.e. Gold & Wood) to come in with their entire line of frames for everyone to see. This is a great opportunity to see every frame in a line in all of the colors that are available. We will have door prizes, drawings for free frames and lenses and hors d'oeuvres!

Q:

What kind of lens for eye glasses are with this deal

Tamara  asked on  Apr 2, 2013

A:

The deal does not limit the type of lenses you select. It is a total amount that would be subtracted from the total price for a complete pair of glasses.

Do you accept insurance, if your glasses go over the cost of the deal?

I'm sorry but the deal cannot be combined with other discounts including insurance benefits. However, you could use your insurance on the first pair and use the groupon on your second pair!

Q:

is it possible for my 13 year old son to use the eye exam portion and me to use the glasses portion? I have a prescription but need glasses and he needs an exam but may not require glasses. thanks.

Diana R.  asked on  Apr 1, 2013

A:

I'm sorry, but you can only use the groupon for one person. The purchase price for the option that includes an exam is still an excellent deal even if no glasses are purchased.

Q:

Can I buy the third option (to get the eye exam and $150 towards frames) as well as the first or second option (to get $200-$250 towards frames) so that I can get an exam and have more than $150 to put toward frames? If yes, is the amount allotted for frames compounded, i.e. $150 + $200 (or $250) = $350 (or $400) for frames, since I would have bought both options?

Jodi W.  asked on  Apr 1, 2013

A:

I'm sorry but you cannot combine the groupons.
