Art in the Vine
In her rare spare time, junior-high art teacher and muralist-about-town Rebecca Dyan Winters operates the BYOB painting studio Art in the Vine. In easy-to-follow classes aimed at artists young and old, Winters, her staff, and occasional guest teachers provide step-by-step instructions to create a wall-ready painting that covers holes resulting from playing with a potato gun indoors. Summer camps for kids aged 5–14 are scheduled every year, and everyday classes are for those aged 10 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult during evening sessions.
