The second-annual Texas Contemporary Art Fair takes place in Hall A of the George R. Brown Convention Center from Friday, October 19, through Sunday, October 21. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Art Market Hamptons
For the fourth year running, Art Market Hamptons returns to the cathedral tent at Bridgehampton Historical Society for a weekend of fine art, gourmet dining, and cultural development. An exclusive fair, only 40 galleries are invited to participate, and pieces on display include contemporary works such as Alan Magee's photorealistic 2014 painting (Untitled Stones) as well as modern marvels such as Pablo Picasso's La Femme Au Fauteuil. Besides the participating galleries, cultural partners include the African American Museum of Nassau County, the Invisible Dog Art Center, the Whitney Museum Contemporaries, and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
