About Artaculture Academy

Artaculture Academy's name neatly synthesizes its values: art and permaculture. On the artistic side, the academy’s 7-acre site houses a glass-blowing studio, where beginners and experienced students can take glass-blowing and flame-work classes or complete seasonal projects. The staff is also in the process of completing gallery space and additional studios devoted to clay and ceramics, woodworking, metalworking, and healing arts. And in the pursuit of permaculture, Artaculture Academy operates as sustainably as possible and helps others to do the same. Clubs and classes address such earth-conscious topics as beekeeping, organic gardening, backyard poultry, and intentional-community design.
