- $45 for a jewelry-making workshop with materials included (a $95 value)
Over the course of the six-hour workshop, which requires no prior experience, students learn how to make their own set of dichroic glass jewelry, including a necklace, bracelet, and a pair of earrings. Seasoned instructors guide a maximum of six students per class through the jewelry-making process, from designing their pieces to learning the basics of cutting and fusing glass to assembling their jewelry. While the glass fires in the kiln, the class breaks for lunch, which students should bring from home. Students take their creations home at the end of the workshop.
The Glass Bar
At The Glass Bar, run by the mother-daughter team of Sheryl and Jordan, students can learn how to create glass art through a variety of classes, from stained glass to glass fusing and dichroic jewelry. Sheryl and Jordan provide a welcoming, no-pressure experience by working one-on-one with students at their own pace until they are comfortable working on their own.
