Arthur Jaxon Slice & Scoop is a true family-run business. Its name comes from grandpa Arthur Leschander and his toddler grandson, Jaxon, though patrons will see family members of every age in between running the shop. They specialize in decadent signature pizzas, including the spinach-artichoke pie with white garlic sauce and the chicken-wing pizza with buffalo or barbecue sauce. Customers, of course, are welcome to create their own New York–style pizza, or they might opt for a calzone or pulled-chicken sandwich. A sweet ending is always in store at Arthur Jaxon, where the staff also scoops ice cream into cones, banana splits, and milkshakes.
