What You'll Get
Having two left feet makes the art of seduction almost impossible, except when standing next to someone with four right hands. Beguile admirers no matter where you stand with today's Groupon: for $89, you get four private lessons and four group dance lessons at Arthur Murray Dance Studios (a $358 value). Group lessons typically take place between 7 p.m. and 9:15 pm. Monday–Friday at all three locations in White Plains, Mt. Kisco, and Yonkers.
The seasoned instructors of Arthur Murray Dance Studios lead guests in a variety of Latin and ballroom dance styles that hone students' footwork and build muscle tone and confidence during a series of private and group lessons. Steppers can opt to bring their own partners or bask in one-on-one attention, like a snowflake on its birthday, at private lessons, during which instructors focus on building students' steps and technique and pupils enjoy heart-pumping workouts. Group sessions give steppers a chance to strut their stuff with partners of varying skill levels, learning proper dance etiquette and meeting and socializing with fellow rug-cutters. While learning the assorted steps and sashays of the cha-cha, mambo, waltz, fox trot, and tango, dancers build up the dance-floor confidence necessary to defeat a limbo stick in a game of hopscotch.

About Arthur Murray Dance Studios
Arthur Murray has been a leading name in franchise dance since 1912, when the entrepreneur began selling mail-order dance lessons. Expanding his reach, he enlisted teachers to spread his signature dance lessons on first-class steamships and skyrocketed to fame in the '30s after introducing the public to such dances as the Lambeth Walk and The Big Apple. By the 1950s, Arthur and his wife, Kathryn, were hosting their own highly popular TV show on ABC, The Arthur Murray Dance Party, which ran for 12 years. Today, Arthur Murray's team prepares students for rug cutting at special events and weekend nightclub jaunts. Throughout lessons, instructors teach the foundations of two to four dances from a long list of styles that range from Latin to country-western, helping students to learn basic step patterns, timing, and the ability to lead or follow.
