Cooking from old family recipes bears better results than cooking from old roommate recipes, which rely too heavily on ramen noodles, hot plates, and passive-aggressive post-it notes. Taste years of familial innovation with this Groupon to Artuzzi’s Italian Kitchen in Alpharetta. Choose between the following options:

  • For $10, you get $20 worth of traditional Italian fare and drinks.
  • For $19, you get $40 worth of traditional Italian fare and drinks, valid for a party of four or more.<p>

Fresh ingredients and age-old family recipes anchor the menu at Artuzzi’s Italian Kitchen, an osteria-style eatery inspired by cofounder Dave Pazienza’s boyhood working in his father’s restaurant. Imported ingredients and miscast spells fuel the flavorful fireballs bursting from Artuzzi’s exhibition kitchen, where chefs sprinkle market-fresh herbs atop custom pasta dishes conjured from seven types of noodles and eight robust sauces, such as a rich pink rosette or a slow-cooked bolognese ($5.95+). Dining companions can divvy up slices from one of seven gourmet pizzas, including the mela’s panoply of sweet sausage, caramelized onions, and granny smith apples ($5.95+). Hearty italian heroes ensconced in toasted ciabatta ($6.95) crush cravings for handheld eats, and pint-size plates of fusilli or cheese pizza ($3.95) occupy toddlers who would otherwise insist on jabbering about proton acceleration. Artuzzi’s Italian Kitchen also slings whole-wheat pasta and pizza dough and caters to on-the-go eaters with speedy counter service.

Artuzzi's Italian Kitchen

Dave Pazienza first donned a toque in the kitchen of his father's restaurant where he learned family recipes from his fellow Italian chefs. He emerged from that experience eager to share those culinary traditions with as many people as possible, which he does from behind the counter at Artuzzi's Italian Kitchen. Tables gaze directly into the open kitchen, allowing guests to watch as cooks reduce steaming pots of wine, cream, and spices or whittle each individual strand of pasta. Extra-virgin olive oil, fresh garlic, and eight signature sauces invigorate the platefuls of freshly cut linguini or imported, whole-wheat penne.

From the pizza oven, scents hint at more than 20 toppings including granny smith apples, gorgonzola cheese, capers, and herb-roasted chicken. The dining room's pastel yellow and orange walls mirror the warmth of the oven beneath vintage-inspired paintings of pasta and wicker-wrapped chianti bottles.
