The traditional Ashtanga yoga style takes practitioners through a sequence of postures linked by Vinyasas. At Ashtanga Yoga, students progress through the traditional, primary series at their own rate, moving through sun salutations, standing and seated poses, inversions and backbends, and finally relaxation.
