All of our duct cleanings always include one entire duct system; as long as there is only one furnace in your home, we clean every supply and return vent. Please call our office at 651-982-2626 for pricing on multiple systems.

Q:

What exactly do they do to clean the vents? And what is involved in the furnace tune up?

Maggie S.  asked on  Dec 19, 2012

A:

With the duct cleaning we use an air hose to blow 200psi of High Pressure Air through all supply and return vents in combination with a commercial-grade truck mounted vacuum creating suction throughout the duct system from the main trunk line. We then use an air-snake through the main trunk line to direct the loose debris to the vacuum hose. All of the loose debris ends up in our truck-mounted vacuum. For the furnace tune-up we: Clean Heat Exchanger, Clean Burners, Clean Gas Orifices, Clean Pilot assembly, Clean Blower motor, Clean Blower wheel, Check all the electrical connections (Tighten where necessary), Check and replace standard filters (If homeowner has filter available), Check Carbon Monoxide Levels, Check for correct air flow, and finally we use a High Resolution Camera to do an Examination of the Heat Exchanger in your furnace and show you what kind of condition it is in.
