$299 for an introductory-flight package (a $499 value)
Aimed at anyone who believes they’d like to pursue a pilot’s license, the package includes a six-week or eight-week ground school course that establishes a solid foundation by imparting aviation theory. Once the course is complete, students take their first 45-minute “The Future Pilot” flight lesson, putting what they have learned to use in the cockpit as they experience the thrill of flight. Ground school takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Centennial Airport, or Monday and Thursday evenings at Rocky Mountain Metro Airport, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Club's instruction gives patrons all the ground training, practice, and support they need to become FAA-certified pilots, including access to a rental fleet of more than 50 aircraft. The first step is a discovery flight where newbies can try their hands at the cockpit controls under close supervision. Aspen Flying Club offers instruction at three Denver Metro locations: Centennial Airport, Rocky Mountain Metro Airport in Broomfield, or Front Range Airport in Watkins.
