Did accidently leave a pistol in the room and when hotel contacted, no one claimed to have found it. Otherwise, accomodations were wonderful.

Front Desk people were very good. Went the extra mile. Even the other employees were very good. Only Problem was the next day the waitress in the cafe didn't live up to the standards of the other employees. Didn't come back to ask if we needed refils on coffee and tea. Had to ask for refils. When we asked for cream for the coffee she never came back. I had to get the cream. My wife & I felt that because we were there on a Groupon deal we wen't afforded the service that other customers got. It only hurt her selt because I didn't give as big of a tip as I normally would. Room- Only problem we had with room was lack of room between A.C. unit and bed. I know you've heard that before. Makes if very difficult when going to bathroom in middle of night. Could have put bi-fold door on closet to give more room between bed and A.C. Our stay was Oct. 14-15 All in all we would still go back.

What You'll Get

People often do things in hotels that they would never do in their own homes, such as sleep soundly, watch Marley & Me, or let the kids drink as much shampoo as they want. Let loose with today's Groupon: for $60, you get a one-night stay in a king suite (up to a $123.17 value, with taxes and fees included) and $15 worth of café fare at Aspen Suites in Baton Rouge (up to a total value of $138.17).

Aspen Suites caters to travelers with spacious rooms, an indoor pool and fitness center, and a central location for easy access to Baton Rouge's entertainment. The king-sized suite greets travelling hordes with a soft bed big enough for them and their yaks and two LCD televisions. Bath and Body Works amenities grace the spa-like bathrooms, while access to the indoor pool and hot tub offers an alternative to soaking in a rain barrel. Jog through the fitness center or combine exercise and sightseeing with a swing through Louisiana State University's Tiger Stadium, the Louisiana Art & Science Museum, or Hollywood Casino's Baton Rouge enclave. Aspen Suites' coffee bar and contemporary bistro-style restaurant's menu features a breakfast buffet ($7.50/person), burgers ($8+), and Cajun-inspired pasta jambalaya ($11.50).
