Choose from Four Options
- $59 for a horseback-riding lesson for one (a $120 value)
- $119 for a horseback-riding lesson for two (a $240 value)
During 90-minute horse-riding lessons, students combine lessons in horse grooming, equipment, and safety with hands-on experience riding. Toward the end of the lesson, students ride horses around the arena and attempt different riding positions. Sessions end with a short cool-down trail ride.
- $89 for a horse-whispering course for two (a $180 value)
- $185 for a horse-whispering course for four (a $360 value)
The two-hour horse-whispering course introduces students to the basics of horse communication, leadership, patience, and behavior. Adopting training and handling techniques which are kinder and gentler than traditional methods, horse-whispering is meant to instill a strong relationship between horse and handler. This is a hands-on course, so there is no riding.
The sky is overcast, and an instructor stands off to the side of the riding area with a camera in hand. Chance, a leather-brown horse, stands poised, ready to jump over an x-rail. Moments later, Chance gallops toward the hurdle, throwing its front legs into the air and gracefully arcing over the lofty obstacle.
