Q:

We are three adults arriving MSY Thanksgiving Day at 1:00 PM. We'll need a ride to our hotel in the Convention Center area (13.5 miles from MSY). What would the tax and gratuity be that we would have to pay in addition to the $30 groupon, please? Thanks.

Kate S.  asked on  Sep 22, 2012

A:

$18 covers the tip and tax up to four people using the town car/SUV option.

You will be picked up curbside right outside of baggage claim on the middle curb. We explain this when you call to make your reservation and go over any questions you might have.

Q:

So, is the airport within 20 miles of the french quarter? (tourist!~) Also, is it ok If I buy one for myself to be used one day and another as a gift for my husband to be used on a different day , is that within the rules?

Marie G.  asked on  Sep 21, 2012

A:

Yes the French Quarter is within 20 miles of the airport and you can purchase two to use. It might be best to call to check for availability first before purchasing at 504-298-RIDE.

Q:

How much exactly is the gratuity, is it based on the $30 deal price or the full value? Also, there's just 2 of us coming from MSY, will there be any other fees? Just figuring out how much cash to have on hand. Thanks.

Chasity B.  asked on  Sep 21, 2012

A:

Just like at a restaurant you would tip on the full amount of the bill if you had a discount. 20% tip and tax not included as the voucher says so the total is $18 to cover up to four people per voucher.

Q:

I'm liking the champagne 2 hour tour, so this would get me from the airport to the place I'm staying in Mid-City? I will be travelling alone and am happy to drink the champagne for 2. LOL

Shannon S.  asked on  Sep 20, 2012

A:

There are three options to choose from. If you'd like to do a 2 hour city tour and be picked up from the airport you would purchase two vouchers, one for each option. Please call the office at 504-298-7433 to discuss further.
