From noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, the Atlanta Street Food Festival assembles a flock of the city’s most popular mobile kitchens and musicians. This year, the event will showcase the wares of more than 25 mobile dining establishments amid a steady stream of rock ‘n’ roll and R & B bands. Aromas from Mix’d Up and Masala Fresh’s burgers and naan wraps swirl through the air, while Southland Romeo performs original tunes driven by electric fiddle, and the reggae and afro-beat rhythms of Bird City Revolutionaries close the event. Filmmakers from 20th Century Fox will give a taste of the new film Turbo, which centers on Dos Bros Tacos, one of the festival’s food trucks. The first 500 people at Dos Bros Tacos walk away with a free taco. Bombay Sapphire will also grant one complimentary cocktail to each of-age attendee.
$0.25 of each wristband will be used to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Menu items and prices will vary depending on each vendor.

“The Groupon lines to pick up wristbands (several checkpoints) were all well over an hour long...this needs to be expedited!! Also not all of us were told of the free tickets attached to the end of the wristband. Also we were led to believe the free meals would not be small samples of a two or three bites. Overall it was amazing to see so many food trucks. Event was coordinated well (except for wristband lines) with EMT's for heat exhaustion and lots of free water stations.”
