An Israeli anti-war advocate and famed concert pianist returns to Tel Aviv after almost 20 years away from his home country for a major performance of Beethoven's Sonata Pathétique, only to be met by angry protestors, his estranged son and his hot-tempered brother. Despite his overtures towards family peace, his return sets off a showdown over their deep ideological differences as the war with Lebanon flares up once again. This Mosaic Theater Company world-premiere production by acclaimed and often controversial Israeli playwright Motti Lerner (Paulus, The Admission) comes to DC's Atlas as part of the Voices From a Changing Middle East Festival.
