Q:

Is this groupon deal per person or per couple? My wife and I want to try taking dance lessons together but I'm not sure I would need to buy two of these?

Thomas A.  asked on  Nov 11, 2011

A:

Hi Thomas. Yes, this deal, as with just about all of our group class pricing, is per person, so you'd want to get an additional one for her. Hope this helps, see you both on the dance floor soon!

Q:

Hi, Is there an age limit for this? I'd like to bring my 9 year old daughter.

kelly  asked on  Nov 11, 2011

A:

Hi Kelly. We don't have an official age limit for any of our classes, but as you can imagine with partner dancing, extreme height differences can sometimes make learning not as easy, but we tend to leave it up to the students to decide what's best for them. We are actually in the midst of building a kids dance program that will be launching in January so if you and your daughter find that the normal group classes don't seem ideal for her, she could easily hold off until the kids program starts. Feel free to give us a call if you want any more details, hope to see you both soon!

Q:

Does the limited two per person deal mean I can have total ten classes? Can I go to both locations during visits or all the visits has to be one location?

Wei C.  asked on  Nov 11, 2011

A:

Yes, you can get two of the deals yourself, and yes, classes can be used at both locations. Once you make your first visit we set up an account for you that tracks usage, so you are free to visit both ATOMIC Irvine and ATOMIC Placentia to take class!

Q:

is the deal for just one person or does it work for a couple? so we buy 1 groupon and we both come to 5 classes? OR do we both need to buy our own to come to 5 classes? or can we buy 1 groupon and share the 5 classes (together it'd be 2 full classes and 1 person would go alone for the 5th class)

heather l.  asked on  Nov 11, 2011

A:

Hi Heather, so sorry about the delay! We find that dance students can come alone, in couples, and in groups, so for the sake of simplicity all our group class pricing is per person so each person would want to get their own. Hope to see you on the dance floor soon!

Q:

Sorry I pressed submit before I was done typing. I'm not interested in switching partners during this class, is this the right class for us?

Karen D.  asked on  Nov 11, 2011

A:

Hi Karen. All our classes rotate partners every few minutes, which helps people pick up the lead and follow technique much quicker, but we do have some people that simply want to stay with their partner and that's just fine as well!

Q:

My wife will not want to change partners during the lesson. Is that a problem?

richard I.  asked on  Nov 11, 2011

A:

All our classes are built to normally rotate partners every few minutes because dancing with different partners generally helps everyone learn much faster, but this is by no means a requirement. We do have some people that wish to stay with their partner so they simply stand outside the normal rotation. Not a problem at all!

Q:

I just bought one, do I need to buy an additional for my dance partner?

Karen D.  asked on  Nov 11, 2011

A:

Soooo sorry about the delay! Yes, because lots of people come alone and in groups, all our group class prices are per person so you'll want to get one for your partner as well.
