About Atomic Museum Vegas: A Smithsonian Affiliate

From Atomic Age culture to scientific and technological advances, the Museum highlights 70 years of nuclear testing. The end of the Cold War is depicted through a piece of the Berlin Wall, complete with the celebratory graffiti painted by Berliners when the wall came down. Two pieces of the World Trade Center signify the beginning of the Global War on Terror and how the Museum today plays a role in training first responders from across the nation who come to learn about the nuclear materials terrorists might use.

Don't get the audio guide. Too few placards and almost no additional useful information to be worth the extra cost.

This is a very well done museum. The displays and videos give the visitor a better understanding of the weapons race between the United States, Russia and China. One of the better museums to visit.

So much to see and read. Quite an interesting experience to read and see the exhibits chronicling the A bomb, H bomb and nuclear arms moratorium history. The tiny theater exhibit experience was awesome. Great fun visit!
