It’s not the nicest boat, but it was a great experience. They narrate interesting facts about the city and the skyline as you approach and leave the Statue of Liberty and play great music as well to make a lively atmosphere. The boat gets close enough for good pictures. It should be clear that the boat does not land on Ellis Island. The boat also has light food and drink.
