What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Nestled in the coastal Fishing Community of Twillingate , We have something for everyone. From our Retail Store which houses our wine retail store and tasting area to a Down-home Gift Shoppe and a Sandwich and Ice-cream shoppe making unique Wine Soft Serve Ice-cream. Tours available all day.
What is one of your most popular offerings? How is it prepared? Our Berry Wines is what make us unique. Making wine from Wild Newfoundland Berries with all the natural flavors , no flavor additives needed here . We also make Several Varieties of wine flavored Soft Serve Ice-cream that are a Fan Favorite by many of our customers.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? The winery started 16 years ago as a cottage winery just catering to local markets . Since it was purchased 9 years ago is has went through a new name and re branding ,Telling the story of the extinct Great Auk and art of making wine from Newfoundland Berries.
What do you love most about your job? The Ownership, Management and Staff take great pride in offering premium quality service to our many visitors we see each year at the winery . We pride our self on ensuring your pleased with what we have to offer.Knowing that our customers are happy is what makes us love our job that much more.
